THE FINISHED PRODUCT

The fabrication process is quite simple: select a shape of firearm you wish to make. Trace out a pattern from newspaper-use about 1/2" thickness for the start. Insert the cardboard tube on top. Dip newspaper strips in white glue and wrap around barrel tube and gun body, continue until desired size and shape are achieved. Attach the surgical tubing to the front end of the barrel, making a loop. Take the metal rod and make a bend over the tubing and insert into rear of the barrel. When ready to fire insert the .38 cal bullet into the rear of the tube-be sure to secure in the paper plug-this should be about half the length of the tube. Pull back on the metal rod elastic piece, aim, release and BANG. Then be sure to let go of the gun as it will begin to burn up.
